Kayligrace Marie

One of the best days of our lives: March 25, the day Kayligrace Marie was born. She was born at 8:32 pm, weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces, and was 22 inches long. Now let's get to these pictures!

Week 39

Only a week left until our due date! We've got the apartment set up and all our clothes washed, a meal or two in the freezer and only a week left with students until they're into finals and spring break. We are ready!

Baby's "First" Wedding

We went to a wedding last weekend, and Baby made her first wedding appearance! (Actually, she went to a wedding back in July, but we didn't realize it at the time, haha.) We thought we'd share some of our pictures, especially since we got Steven into a tie!


The doctors are still saying everything looks good...we're just playing the waiting game at this point. They're saying that since I have a little bit of extra amniotic fluid, I might not go into labor naturally, but we'll just cross that bridge when we get there. It could be any day now!

A Baby Day

So we installed the car seat today! We decided to switch its occupant, however, to try to get a more realistic feel. Meet the newest baby substitute:

As you can tell, the car seat takes up pretty much ALL of the back seat!

After we installed the car seat, we took a trip to our nearby Lake Padden to enjoy the sunshine.

If you can't tell, that shiny spot in the middle of the lake is ice!

Bellingham Baby Shower...with games!

We got a car seat at our shower, so we thought we should try it out and make sure we could figure out how it works. Welcome its first occupant! We installed it in the car today and about ran out of room!
