A Baby Day
So we installed the car seat today! We decided to switch its occupant, however, to try to get a more realistic feel. Meet the newest baby substitute:

Catching Up
Okay, so it's been a really long while since we last posted...sorry! Here's a post to try to make up for all that lost time.

Bellingham Baby Shower...with games!

We got a car seat at our shower, so we thought we should try it out and make sure we could figure out how it works. Welcome its first occupant! We installed it in the car today and about ran out of room!
There should be more pictures to come, and hopefully I'll be more regular about posting!
November 23 (week 24)

What a Way to Celebrate
On Monday, we went to the doctor and found out WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!! We are so excited about this news and can't wait to meet her! Tuesday marked our 2-year anniversary, as well, so this was a wonderful way for us to celebrate! But while we're still mostly child-free, we decided we'd get away for a night to celebrate at a bed and breakfast. (We also found out that this kind of trip is called a babymoon.) It was such a fun and relaxing weekend!
We loved the theme of the room - rustic and outdoorsy.
This was the view from outside our room...on a very misty morning.
This is me doing a baby picture...in the rain.

This was so cool! Our hosts told us about this stream in which there were salmon spawning! This is a fish I finally caught in action as it was trying to jump over this mini waterfall! Watching these guys was amazing, and it gave a whole new meaning to "go against the flow!"

Halloween Fun
Our campus group went on a retreat over Halloween this year, so we thought we'd show you some of our costumes!

Apple Picking!
Washington is known for its apples, so we thought we'd take advantage of it and go pick some apples! We went with some friends, Kyle and Tabitha, so we had ourselves a grand 'ole time.

Steven had just accidentally broken a branch of this tree trying to get an apple from the very top. Ah, the things husbands do for their wives!
